Properly understood, German Biological Medicine is rooted in the work of Hans Heinrich Reckeweg, the Father of Homotoxicology. In the mid-20th century, Reckeweg showed how illness is progressive. He demonstrated that any illness develops predictably across six stages. He also showed that the process can be reversed. Homeopathic treatment, better nutrition and other measures can open the channels of elimination. This helps the body to detoxify and the terrain to return to a state of health.
Unlike conventional Western medicine, German Biological Medicine is not “disease treatment” but a method of stimulating the body’s own self-regulating abilities, its innate ability to heal.

My Story
Conventional Dentistry nearly killed me, and Biological Dentistry saved my life...
One of the top stated reasons for the formation of the American Dental Association at the end of the 19th century was to eliminate the quacks in the profession who used Mercury. Six decades later, they were putting 14 large 'silver' fillings in my teeth, many of them 'preventively' as part of a research experiment through Boston University. As a young child, I was pressured to participate without any parental presence in the room. My healing work today is an indirect fruit of that sacrifice.
At age 30, I learned that I was facing over 99% risk of death from stroke in my 30's due to Mercury poisoning. Those fillings were over 50% Mercury. Any one of those fillings contained enough Mercury to poison a 5 acre lake, making it off-limits to fishing. The half life for Mercury to leach out of fillings is 20 years, so by 20 years after the fillings were placed, my body was so toxic that I was too weak to even excrete any Mercury. Yet the galvanic interaction of the dissimilar metals in my mouth made the electrical currents peg the meter for Buccal currents indicating that the rate of leaching was off the chart for every filling.
Because removal of the source of chronic exposure would also cause some acute increase in exposure, It took me a year to complete the dental restoration work to replace the amalgams with a biocompatible material, no more than two teeth per month with individually tailored support for Mercury detoxification throughout the year.
By 3 years into my process of Accelerated Self Healing, I had reversed my Biological Age on the BEV blood test of biological terrain from nearly 70 to an age normal score of 33. That is the typical rate of reversal of the effects of aging and degeneration that we see with Accelerated Self Healing, that is, one year of reversal for one month in our program.

Biological Dentistry is rooted in European Biological Medicine. When the founders of IABDM (at first, the American Academy of Biological Dentistry) began learning EAV from Dr. Rheinhold Voll in 1984, and continued learning through Walter Sturm's Occidental Institute (as did I), this field was born. When I released my first book to the general public, Electromagnetic Pollution Solutions, the organization listed it in their recommended library.

Here is an excellent introductory article on Biological Dentistry on the IAOMT website. It briefly covers key topics including Mercury toxicity, buccal currents (oral galvanism), root canals, NICO lesions (focal jawbone cavitations), and Fluoride.
We recommend avoiding all the commercial toothpastes. Nearly all are made with Sodium Laurel Sulfate which is a soap that foams giving you the impression that you are cleaning something. SLS promotes cancer. Nearly all also contain Fluoride. Fluoride was first used commercially to dull the minds of inmates in concentration camps and gulags in Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia. It is a toxic waste that also causes much destruction of tooth and bone tissue via Fluorosis. Fluoride treatments by dentists can even be deadly in children. Avoid exposure to more of the toxic halogen, Fluoride, which like Chlorine is added to many community water supplies.
The protocol we recommend for routine daily tooth and gum health is brushing with a wicking toothbrush as most of the world still does, rather than a plastic brush. My first mentor, Dr. Alexander Wood, referred his patients in need of dental surgery (based on his diagnosis with European Biological Medicine methods developed largely by German Dentists, who became qualified in both Oriental and Western Medicine), with the request to document the correct diagnosis based on tissue pathology. His record was 100% correct diagnosis based on the German Electrodiagnostic methods he taught me.
In contrast, a study at Harvard found only one in three patients treated at their hospital had been treated for the condition confirmed by histology. That's at the top institution... so even if the treatments they were using were energetically correct for the diagnosis, their results would only be 1/3 as good as ours.
In fact, about 90% of Western Medicine prescriptions test to be an added stress to the patient's electrophysiology rather than a healing stimulus. This corresponds to the meaning of the term Allopathic Medicine which means that modern medicine treats by introducing a new disease ("allo" = different, "path" = disease).
In contrast, the more holistic methods of Oriental Medicine produce an increase of coherence in the body electric about 80% of the time.
